Modus Operandi

Having failed at making a weight loss page in the past, and having been inspired my second day back to work after the holidays by overhearing coworkers discussing healthy eating and exercise, I figured I'd start from scratch. I'm aiming to have this site aid me in leading a more active and healthy lifestyle. In here, I track food in the form of calories eaten as well as fat, fiber, sugar, and sodium; how much sleep I get in a night; how much water I'm drinking; and how much time I spend exercising (with trips to the bathroom and back from my cube not counting). To the left are quick little visuals of how the past month or week has been going, in the form of monthly calendars with color coded days for good, bad, or so-so. Then the main page here has details for the most recently logged day, plus I'll be able to look back at daily archives to review. The theory is that there will be increasingly more green colored days than yellow or red, and that I will learn to develop better sleeping, eating, and exercising habits that will stick with me beyond the common life events (illness, vacations) that unravel so many good plans.
